Redesigned Interior and Courtyard

The Olive Tree has, for the better part of a decade, retained its original Mediterranean design. And while the look certainly had it’s appeal for those wanting their fix of holiday vibes, we felt the need to finally reinvent the space we came into all those years back.

Indoors, we’ve moved on from the metal chairs and marbled tables to softer furnishings like leather and velvet chairs and smooth wooden table tops. Our ceiling spotlights have been replaced by hanging pendants with warm, adjustable lighting for setting the right vibe. We’ve also updated our wall colours with deeper olive greens and greys to provide a cozier space. All of these elements come together to create more cohesive, smarter, more modern dining experience.

Heading out back, our refreshed courtyard has several new features, while still providing the same amount of holiday escapism it’s known for. Due to the increased demand for al fresco dining in recent years, we’ve added a new summer house that provides year round cover for larger gatherings, we’ve also added some space heating in key locatings. We’ve knocked down a few waist high walls to allow for an open view of the entire garden, and to give us some more pearching spots for those that just want to mingle. Lastly, we wouldn’t be The Olive Tree without a few olive trees! They dot the garden alongside other plants and flowers to really bring the garden to life!

It feels great to shed off the old look and finally embrace a new one, given the past two years we’ve had. The end result is something we’re personally really proud of, and we hope you think so too. Having said all of that, we’ve also updated our tapas and drinks menu in time for the summer season! All of our tables both inside and outside are reservable, so don’t be a stranger!
